September 23, 2004 blaming Bush for "Extreme" Hurricane Season

Now I've heard it all.

President Bush, who in the minds of many, is supposed to be dumber than horse manure in a heatwave, is now to blame for the "extreme hurricane season," according to

"Scientists agree that global warming makes sea levels rise and makes storms stronger, because temperature shifts disrupt the normal balance," explained. "Warmer water makes more violent hurricanes."

The group added that insurance companies such as Swiss Re and Munich Re say "global warming is causing more losses."

Ridiculing President George W. Bush for "handing out emergency aid" in Florida while doing "nothing to reduce global warming," contends that the president has "done a lot to make the problem worse" and has caused the massive hurricanes to form. points the finger at Bush, saying that he has "helped the oil companies drill more, and the big polluters pollute more, at every opportunity" while he "has done nothing to stop global warming pollution, which is making extreme weather stronger."

The group goes on to insist that by Bush's "failure" to support the UN's Kyoto proposal, that global warming has caused more storms and made overall pollution greater.

As you might say, Just Damn!

These guys are truly clueless and in total denial. Kyoto was rejected 95-0 by the senate when Clinton was in office. It is totally unconstitutional. And it penalizes the developed nations like the U.S. while giving the underdeveloped nations slack.

Not that I'm telling any visitor to this site anything new.

One of the babies at the group home where I work had the sh*ts today.
I'm pretty sure it had Dubya's hoof prints in it... :-)
