OK, so I was wrong. Sue me.

So I was mistaken in my take on Taco Bell's contest and the language they used to describe the desired entries.

Even I pull my tin foil on tight once in awhile.

I'm just as human as the next guy.

To Taco Bell, I'm sorry.

To you folk visiting from DU to bitch/gloat, I'm human, and I don't walk on water. I even make mistakes once in awhile.

I'm man enough to admit it, and own up to 'em.

Life goes on.

I hope they're at least considering adopting a less ambiguous turn of phrase.

It's weird. I never heard that phrase myself before today. But I Googled it, and sure enough, it does sound like it's used that way a lot. Go figure.

I think my reaction might well have been the same as yours.

I've heard off-center or offbeat, but not left of center.

Semi-on topic, I discovered that the little healthy food market next to my office complex carries lots of annoying publications. It's kind of shocking to be waiting in line and seeing "Earth First!" (for the very capitalistic price of $4.50). Now that I looked I've seen Adbusters (which had that odious Neoconservative=Jew piece a month or so ago), Utne Reader and Z Magazine also in the checkout lines.

You appology is not sufficient. To atone for your sins, you shall be forced to order and eat a dozen Pizza Hut pizzas with, "everything on them, and I mean EVERYTHING."

This may be why the Bush Judicial Nomination Review Board doesn't return my phone calls.

If it makes you feel any better, Beck, I'll return your phone call. If you ever call me.

Did I mention my number's unlisted?

Careful. I have a gordita, and I know how to use it.
