Is this SFGate.com photo caption over the line?
That corral's where we keep the liberals: President Bush shows off his Crawford, Texas, ranch to the Israeli prime minister -- coincidentally on the same day that the media report the president's iPod playlist includes "My Sharona."Personally, I don't quite think so, but I'm sure there are some folks who might get a little upset at it. Honestly, I think it was probably intended in a snide way, but it just strikes me as a pretty funny little joke. Cute even.
Posted by: zombyboy at April 14, 2005 12:58 AMI think its funny... The liberals part anyway. What the puzzles me is what "My Shraona" has to do with anything. Im aware of the song but I never caught on to a political message in it. Maybe someone can help me with that.
Another observation... Whats with the seat belt around the back of his seat. This is a pretty cool way of defeating that irritating ding noise new cars make when you dont wear your seatbelt.
Z and Schwerv are right, especially about the "liberals" part. Heck, if this pic were in a caption contest at Wizbang or OTB, I or any number of conservative commenters might have submitted it.
As for "My Sharona," I think whoever labelled it filthy was probably confusing it with "I'm Turning Japanese" or something.
