Russian TV shows hostage taker's pleas for life

Russian special forces nabbed one of the "alleged" hostage takers in the school massacre, and was shown on television in Russia pleading for his life today.

Channel One state television showed the man being dragged into a room by two masked commandoes.

His hands cuffed and locked behind his back, he makes a plea to the camera.

In the footage, shown on Sunday evening, the man, whose accent strongly suggests he is from the region and not a foreigner, makes a plea to the camera.

"I really didn't go there to die and I still don't want to die. I swear, I swear to Allah the almighty, that I want to live," he says.

According to the televised report, the unidentified suspect had shaved his beard and attempted to escape with the liberated hostages.

Religion of peace? Yeah. Right.

I'm surprised that the Russian authorities didn't do a little "summary justice" on this one. I heard that some of the civilians took care of some of the other fleeing perps.

..I think what's in store for him would make him wish they had done summary justice. Anmd, whatever happens to him, it's probably much less than he deserves.

I don't think this man looks like a terrorist.
Just look at his eyes, he is frighten and looks
like a normal human, not as a cold and mercyless
murder. I do hope I am right !!

Terrorists only look strong and fanatical when they're the ones doing the frightening. Turn the tables and they wet themselves just like any other captured wild animal.
