pretty good cartoon. i don't know if there is any cable channel that shows BBC World or any major BBC channel but on Panorama the week before last there was an interview with President Clinton done by Jeremy Paxman (big interviewer over here, different style to but similar role to Larry King on CNN). Now like or loathe Clinton -and i happen to think he was a superb president- his style is brilliant. I know the guy is an oxford scholar with an IQ of 180 odd but i have never been so hooked listening to a politician -Blair is a slick, weaslly poodle of Bush who anyone on here could guess my views on- ,Personally i think he was an idiot over Lewinsky (especially as she was far worse looking than his wife) but when he turned on Paxman over the media giving Starr a journalistic blank cheque it was incredible. Have never seen a journalist so completely trumped. He could not answer the charge laid against his profession. The man is reputed to be easily the most intelligent of your recent presidents and listening to him i am not surprised. why can't he be the candidate for the Democrats? note that was a question of resignation i am aware of your two term rule.

The cartoon is EXCELENT!

Nick,

Had Paxman "done his homework" and researched his subject properly he would have had a comeback. Reporters here just wish that they could have been there to pursue the matter.

Clinton is a magician who can get people to believe him rather than their own "lying eyes". You may note that he has been disbarred in Arkansas after lying in court, a serious offense for a lawyer, particularly one who is President.

Tony Blair is noboy's poodle. He is eloquent and deals in facts. A shame he can't be elected President. I'd vote for him.

take him then please. I have a suggestion. We become a republic and you give us Bill Clinton (or hillary makes no difference to me) and we will give you tony blair for your next president.

i can't follow the Presidential election as much as i would like -curse the lack of satellite (cable to you guys I guess)television. From what i have seen though (and i must admit i want bush out) kerry has no charisma or presence at all. he just seems bland and dull and unsure exactly what he wants to do. Hillary Clinton aside is he seriously the democrats best candidate?

AHHHH...PLEASE PLEASE We Will give you Hillary AND bill free of charge...we don't even want Blair in return...we just want to get rid of Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Bitch as soon as possible. You want them? You got them...
